About Me Describe Yourself: I like to have fun, but the sad truth is I take life a little too seriously. I am trying to surround myself with people who will help me bring out the fun side of my personality. It takes patience - I keep strong, sturdy walls up all around me and only a select few are ever allowed in to get to know the real me. Interests Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: I am a lover of all music. What I choose to listen to at a given time depends on my mood. Sometimes I choose music to match my mood, other times I use it to try to change my mood. The right song at the right time can really lift my spirits. Music bypasses the mind and communicates directly with the soul. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: I love to read and mainly enjoy nonfiction. However, I can easily get lost in a good story as well. My current favorite is "The Rest of the Gospel" by Dan Stone and David Gregory. It's a great book for anyone who is tired of trying to live the "religious life" and just wants to rest in God's grace., C.S. Lewis. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: This is kind of embarrassing, but I love kids movies, so my favorites are Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Narnia, and Wizard of OZ. Oh yeay, and Willie Wonka - the old one. I also like regular movies. Recently I enjoyed: Crash, We Were Soldiers, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Pirates of the Caribbean (1and 2). I just watched "Desperado" with friend and I have to add it to my favorites list. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I don't watch much television, but I do sometimes watch CSI - the original one. I haven't taken the time to watch all the spin-offs. Interests and Activities: I love to watch Motocross - both freestyle and racing. I do some writing in my spare time and love to go hiking in the hills of Malibu. I also enjoy roller-blading on the beach, singing opera and going to the spa., I like to sew, scrapbook and make jewelry. Anything crafty.
